Borny Fest
Curatorial work for Borny Fest in Odesa in 2020 and 2021. Combining contemporary music with visual art, the festival grew from the closing programme of Dima Erlich’s Bored & Horny exhibition.
About the project
The 2021 edition was announced for 14–15 August across two venues. GORSAD hosted an art market, museum lectures, an Art Odessa exhibition and concerts by Ragapop and Stasik. At night, PORT brought electronic live sets together with an immersive audiovisual environment.
The programme connected exhibition-making, performance and informal gathering, expanding an exhibition’s closing event into a festival. Vogue Ukraine documented this development in its July 2021 preview.
