Intention

An exhibition reflecting on intelligence and communication as connections between people. The project considers how shared knowledge and global technologies might cross divisions between cultures, countries and beliefs.

About the project

Intention proposes the idea of a shared intelligence that connects humanity across national, cultural and religious differences. The exhibition treats technological development and the circulation of information as parts of an evolving collective process, while asking why our habits of thought so often remain organised around separation.

Education and social life teach attachments to family, country and belief, but these attachments can also make everything outside their boundaries appear alien. The curatorial text questions a worldview in which global problems remain secondary to the interests of a particular group.

The project imagines another foundation for coexistence: recognising oneself as part of a wider intellectual world. Intelligence becomes a potential connector, and the development of a shared consciousness a means of addressing conflicts that cannot be resolved within isolated communities. Its proposition is an invitation to think about unity without denying difference.
